Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਗਲ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਮਨੋਰਥ = ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ। ਮਾਥ = ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ॥੧॥
