ਅੰਤਰਿ ਗਿਆਨੁ. ਨ ਆਇਓ; ਜਿਤੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਇ ॥

Sant Singh KhalsaSpiritual wisdom, which would bring understanding, does not enter into his mind.

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਹੀ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣੀ ਹੈ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ।
Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਗਿਆਨ ਸੇ ਕੁਛ ਇਹ ਜੀਵ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਵੈ, ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਸਕਰਣ ਮੇਂ ਸੋ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਝ ਪੈਣੀ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਗਿਆਨ ਤਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਗਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ (ਗਿਆਨੀ) ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ।

Fareedkot Teekaਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇ ਦੇਖੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਪਰੋਖ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੂਏ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਆਸਤਕ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੂਏ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਕੋ ਤਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਆ ਸਲਾਹਨਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸਲਾਹਿਤਾ ਭੀ ਹੈ ਤੌ ਵਹੁ ਅੰਧਾ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਧਪਨੇ ਮੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਫਿਰ ਜਿਸ (ਹਰੀ) ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ? ਗਿਆਨ-ਹੀਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Sant Singh KhalsaO Nanak, when one realizes the Word of the Shabad, then the Naam comes to abide in the mind. ||1||

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਨਕ ਜਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਤਾਂ) ਨਾਮ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
