Fareedkot Teekaਮੈਲ ਔਰ ਜੂਆਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੂਆ ਨੀਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਕਾ ਸਿਆਹੀ ਸੇ ਕਾਲਾ ਕੀਆ ਹੂਆ (ਖਿਧੋਲੜਾ) ਲੇਫ ਵਾ ਖਿੰਥਾ ਗੋਦ੍ਯਾ ਤਿਸ ਬੇਮੁਖ ਮਰਵਾਹੇ ਨੇ ਨਫਰ ਕੌ ਤਪੇ ਬੇਮੁਖ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਸੇ ਪਹਰਾਇ ਦੀਆ। ਜਬ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰ ਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਪਰ ਗੋਂਦੇ ਕੇ ਪੁਤਰ ਨੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰੀ ਤਬ ਅਕਬਰ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਝੂਠਾ ਜਾਨ ਕਰ ਧਕੇ ਦਵਾਇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖਾਈ ਮੇਂ ਗਿਰਵਾਇ ਦੀਆ, ਖਿਧੋਲੇ ਕੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਟਾ ਲਗ ਗਿਆ॥

ਪਾਸਿ. ਨ ਦੇਈ ਕੋਈ ਬਹਣਿ, ਜਗਤ ਮਹਿ; ਗੂਹ ਪੜਿ, ਸਗਵੀ ਮਲੁ ਲਾਇ, ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਆਇਆ ॥

Sant Singh KhalsaNo one in the world will sit near him; the self-willed manmukh fell into manure, and returned with even more filth covering him.
Manmohan SinghNo one in the world allows him to sit near Him. He the apostate fell into ordure and returned with still more filth attached to him.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਸੰਸਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਬਹਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਉਹ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੀ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੇੜ ਕੇ ਅਧਰਮੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
Fareedkot Teekaਜਗਤ ਮੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਮੀਪ ਨਾ ਬੈਠਨੇ ਦੇਵੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਖਿਧੋਲੇ ਮੇਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਟਾ ਪੜ ਗਿਆ, ਉਲਟੀ ਔਰ ਅਧਿਕ ਮੈਲ ਲਾਇ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੁਖ ਘਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਕੋਲ ਬਹਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ, ਗੰਦ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਮੈਲ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਮਨਮੁਖ (ਵਾਪਸ) ਆਇਆ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੂਹ = ਗੰਦ। ਸਗਵੀ = ਸਗੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੀ।

Sant Singh KhalsaThe faithless baymukh was sent to slander and back-bite others, but when he went there, the faces of both he and his faithless master were blackened instead.

Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਵੇਮੁਖ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਮਰਵਾਹਿਓਂ ਵਾ ਤਪੇ ਨੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਾਈ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਚੁਗਲੀ ਕਰਨੇ ਕੋ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਥਾ, ਸੋ ਈਹਾਂ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਮੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਜਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਭਲਾ ਲੋਕ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਪਾਸ ਬੈਠਨੇ ਨ ਦੇਵੇ। ਉਹ ਦਿਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਭੀ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਬੇਮੁਖਾਂ ਕਾ ਕਿਆ ਮਰਵਾਹੇ ਕਾ ਔਰ ਨਫਰ ਕਾ ਅਕਬਰ ਨੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਾਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਪਰਾਈ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਤੇ ਚੁਗਲੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ (ਸਾਲਾਹ) ਕਰ ਕੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਥੇ ਭੀ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

Manmohan SinghIt was instantly heard in the whole world my brethren that the willful man along with his servant was shoe-beaten. With addled brains they arose and returned home.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਤੁਰਤ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਹਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਜ ਗਿਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਓ, ਕਿ ਆਪ ਹੁਦਰਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਮੇਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਦੇ ਛਿਤੱਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਡੌਰ ਭੌਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਉਹ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਆਏ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਭਨੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਤੁਰਤ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਬੇਮੁਖ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੌਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਠ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੜ = ਤੜੱਕ, ਤੁਰਤ। ਸਭਤੁ = ਸਭ ਥਾਂ। ਸਣੈ = ਸਮੇਤ। ਨਫਰ = ਨੌਕਰ। ਪਉਲੀ ਪਉਦੀ = ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦਿਆਂ। ਫਾਵਾ = ਬਉਰਾ, ਪਾਗਲ।

Sant Singh KhalsaThe faithless baymukh was not allowed to mingle with others; his wife and niece then brought him home to lie down.
Manmohan SinghThe perverse person for the future, was not allowed to mix with society of the fathers in law of his children. Then his wife and niece went and brought him home again to lie down.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਅਗੋਂ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕੂਲ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹੁਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਜੋਲ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਮੁੜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿਤਾ।
Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਅਗੇ ਸੰਗਤੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਕੁੜਮਤ ਮੇਂ ਬੇਮੁਖ ਰਲਣਾ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਔਰ ਜਬ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਕੇ ਲੋਗੋਂ ਕਾ ਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੂਆ ਸਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਕਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਬੈਠਾ ਥਾ ਕੋਈ ਲੈਣ ਨ ਗਿਆ, ਤਬ ਬੇਟੇ ਕੀ ਬਹੂ ਨੇ ਔਰ ਭਾਈ ਕੇ ਬੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਰੋਗੀ ਹੂਏ ਕੋ ਘਰ ਲਿਆਇ ਕਰ ਮੰਜੇ ਪਰ ਪਾਇ ਦੀਆ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਅੱਗੋਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੁੜਮਾਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਸਾਕਾਂ ਅੰਗਾਂ) ਵਿਚ ਬੇਮੁਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਿਣਾ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ, ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਤੇ ਭਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਜਾਤੇ ਰਹੇ। ਉਸ ਕੇ ਕੰਠ ਮੇਂ ਰੋਗ ਥਾ ਅੰਨ ਜਲ ਕਠਨਤਾ ਸੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾਤਾ ਥਾ, ਯਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਿਤੰਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਭੂਖਾ ਤਿਹਾਇਆ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਹੇ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅਜਾਈਂ ਗਏ ਤੇ (ਹੁਣ) ਭੁੱਖਾ ਤੇ ਤਿਹਾਇਆ ਕੂਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਤੀਜੀ = ਭਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ। ਆਣਿ = ਲਿਆ ਕੇ।

ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਹੈ; ਜਿਨਿ ਨਿਆਉ ਸਚੁ. ਬਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿ) ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੱਚਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ) ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਚਾਇਆ = ਖ਼ੁਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
