Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਿਥੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ) ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਜੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਹ ਕਰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਕਰਮ-ਕਾਂਡੀ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਮ = (ਕਰਮ ਕਾਂਡ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਿਥੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ) ਕੰਮ। ਬੰਧਾ = ਬੱਝ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਜਿਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਸੇ ਉਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਤੁ ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ ਜਿਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ। ਲਾਵਹਿ = ਤੂੰ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ (ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!)।

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਿ = ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਵੇਖੈ = ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ)। ਜਚਨਾ = ਜਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ, ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਖ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇ! ਮੈਂ ਦਾਸ ਕੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਦੇਵੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਸਮਾਲੀਐ, ਭਾਵ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਜਪਤੇ ਰਹੀਏ॥੮॥੧॥੭॥☬ਵੈਰਾਗ ਜਨਕ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
