Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਭੀ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੀਏ। (ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ) ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੬॥੪॥੧੩॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਾਨਕ = ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗਾਵਹ = {ਉੱਤਮ ਪੁਰਖ, ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ} ਅਸੀਂ ਗਾਵੀਏ। ਗੁਣੀ = ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ॥੧੬॥੪॥੧੩॥
