Prof. Sahib Singhਕਬੀਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮॥੧॥* ਭਗਤ-ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸੱਜਣ ਜੀ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ-"ਇਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੋਗ-ਅੱਭਿਆਸ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਮੰਡਨ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਖੰਡਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਉਕਤ ਹਠ-ਜੋਗ ਕਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਭਗਤ ਜੀ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।" * ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਨ। ਬੜਾ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੈ। ਠੀਕ ਅਰਥ ਸਮਝਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਨਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸੱਜਣ ਜੀ ਭੁਲੇਖਾ ਖਾ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਪਾਠਕ ਸੱਜਣ ਇਸ ਅਸੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ 'ਰਹਾਉ' ਦੀ ਤੁਕ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੋਗ-ਅੱਭਿਆਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਭੁਲੇਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗਾ। * ਨੋਟ: ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ 'ਰਹਾਉ' ਦੀ ਤੁਕ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ।
