Fareedkot Teekaਮਤ ਮਤ੍ਰਾਂਤ੍ਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਵੈਰ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਾ ਤਿਨ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੇ ਵਖ੍ਯਾਨ ਹੈਂ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਸਾਲਾਹਣੇ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਤਿਨ (ਵਾਦਿ) ਝਗੜੋਂ ਕੇ ਕਥਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਸੇ, ਬਿਨਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੇ ਜਸ ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੇ, (ਆਵਣੁ) ਜਨਮ (ਜਾਣੁ) ਮਰਨ ਬਨਾ ਰਹਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਪਰਸਪਰ ਬਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸ਼ੈਵ ਵੈਸ਼ਨੋ ਕੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਔਰ ਵੈਸ਼੍ਨਵ ਸ਼ੈਈਵੋਂ ਕੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਇਤ੍ਯਾਦੀ। ਏਹ ਸਬ (ਵਾਦਿ ਵਿਰੋਧਿ) ਬ੍ਯਰਥ ਝਗੜੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਆਪੋ ਵਿਚ ਮਤ-ਭੇਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ (ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਵਤਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ) ਵਾਹ ਵਾਹ ਅਖਵਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਨਿਰੇ ਇਸ ਮਤ-ਭੇਦ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਵਾਦਿ = ਵਾਦ ਵਿਚ, ਝਗੜੇ ਬਹਸ ਵਿਚ। ਵਾਦੇ = ਵਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਮ = ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼। ਨ ਛੁਟਸੀ = ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਕਹਿ = ਕਹਿ ਕੇ। ਸੁਣਿ = ਸੁਣ ਕੇ। ਵਖਾਣੁ = ਵਖਿਆਨ, ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ॥੭॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜੇਹੜੀਆਂ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹੀ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੋਈ ਐਸਾ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾ ਸਕਾਂ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭਿ = ਸਾਰੀਆਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਉਹ ਹਰੀ-ਪਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਨਾਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਵਾਂ।
