ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ।

ਮਤ ਤੁਮ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਓਇ ਜੀਵਦੇ; ਓਇ ਆਪਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਓਇ = ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ। ਕਰਤਾਰਿ = ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਉਮੈ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ (ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ) ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਹੀ ਮੋਏ ਜਾਣੋ। ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
