ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਵ = ਨੌ ਵਿਆਕਰਣ। ਛਿਅ = ਛੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ। ਖਟ = ਛੇ ਵੇਦਾਂਗ (ਸ਼ਿਕਸ਼ਾ, ਕਲਪ, ਵਿਆਕਰਣ, ਛੰਦ, ਨਿਰੁਕਤ, ਜੋਤਿਸ਼)।

Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਭੀ (ਤੋਹਿ) ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੀ (ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਨਿ = ਉਸ ਨੇ। ਤੋਹਿ = ਤੇਰਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਤੇਰੇ) ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਨ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਹੂਣ = ਸੱਖਣਾ। ਮੁਕਤਿ = ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਕਮਲ ਦੀ ਨਾਭੀ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ ਨਾਹ ਲਾ ਸਕਿਆ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਾਭਿ = ਕਮਲ ਦੀ ਨਾਭੀ। ਵਸਤ = ਵੱਸਦਿਆਂ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮੈ = ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ॥੩॥
