ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰੁ = (ਮੇਰਾ) ਹੱਥ। ਗਹਰਿ = (ਤੂੰ) ਫੜ ਲਏਂ। ਨ ਮੂਲਿ = ਕਦੇ ਨਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਮੰਦ-ਕਰਮੀ (ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਦੋਜ਼ਕ ਦੀ ਅਸਹ ਪੀੜ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਪੀੜ ਨਾਲ ਤੜਫ਼ਦੇ ਹਨ) ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਛੋਡਨਿ = ਛੱਡ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦੁਰਜਨਾ = ਮੰਦ-ਕਰਮੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਪੜਹਿ = ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸੂਲਿ = ਅਸਹਿ ਪੀੜ ਵਿਚ ॥੨॥
