Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਕਬੀਰ! ਇਹ ਜਾਣਦਿਆਂ ਭੀ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਦੀ ਹੈ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪੰਛੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ) ਭਟਕ ਭਟਕ ਕੇ (ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ) ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਦੌੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦਹ ਦਿਸ = ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ, ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਵਲ। ਉਡਿ ਉਡਿ = ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਉੱਡ ਕੇ, ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਭਟਕ ਕੇ।
