Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਬੰਦੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿੱਛੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਭੁੱਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਤਿ ਬੀਤਣ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ-ਰੂਪ ਰਾਤ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਲੰਘਦੀ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਇਤਨੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਮਰ ਭਾਰੂ ਹੋਈ ਜਾਪਦੀ ਹੈ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਕਤ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਵਿਹਾਵੀ = ਬੀਤਦੀ।
