Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ) ਚੁਹਚੁਹੇ ਵੇਸ ਵਿਚ (ਮਸਤ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ, ਮਾਨੋ,) ਬਦਕਾਰ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਖਸਮ) ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਾਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਮਣਿ = ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ। ਕੁਲਖਣੀ = ਭੈੜੇ ਲੱਛਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਉਸ ਆਪ-ਹੁਦਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਹਿਯਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਵੈ-ਜ਼ਬਤ। ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੂੜ ਬੋਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਛੱਡਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਓਸ ਕਾ ਨਾ (ਸੀਲੁ) ਸਾਂਤ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ (ਸੰਜਮੁ) ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀਓਂ ਕਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸੀ ਤੇ ਸੋ ਸਦਾ ਝੂਠ ਹੀ ਬੋਲਤੀ ਹੈਂ। ਤਿਸਦੇ ਸਭ ਕਰਮ ਮਨਮੁਖਤਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸੀ ਤੇ ਸੋ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਮੇਂ (ਖੁਆਰੁ) ਖਰਾਬ, ਭਾਵ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਹ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਚਰਨ ਹੈ, ਨਾਹ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪ-ਹੁਦਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਆਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੀਲੁ = ਚੰਗਾ ਆਚਰਨ। ਸੰਜਮੁ = ਬੰਦਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਨਾ, ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗਲਿ = ਗਲ ਵਿਚ। ਖਿਮਾ = ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਵਧੀਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਦਤ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਕੋ (ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰੁ) ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਪਤੀ (ਰਾਵੈ) ਭੋਗਤਾ, ਭਾਵ ਅਪਨੇ ਸਾਥ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਵਹੁ ਕਿਸੀ ਕੀ ਮਿਲਾਈ ਹੂਈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਤੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਹਤ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਭਿੰਨ ਰਹਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗ ਦਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਖਸਮ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਏ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਿਰਾਲਾ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ;

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਨਾਹ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਖਸਮ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰੇ ਉਹ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਭਾਗ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
