Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਮਿਲੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ) ਵੱਡਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੋਉ = ਕੋਈ ਭੀ। ਮਾਇਆ ਵਡਿਆਈ = ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮਿਲੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੂਮੀਆ = ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ। ਭੂਮਿ ਊਪਰਿ = ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ। ਲੁਝੈ = ਲੜਦਾ ਝਗੜਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਇਥੇ ਹੀ) ਛੱਡ ਕੇ (ਆਖ਼ਰ ਇਥੋਂ) ਤੁਰ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਦੀ) ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਟਦੀ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਨਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ (ਤੇ ਜਦ ਤਕ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ ਤਦ ਤਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਤ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥੪੪॥੧੧੩॥
