ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੇਟਿਓ = ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਜਿ = ਜੇਹੜਾ। ਸਚੀ = ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ। ਬੂਝ = ਸਮਝ, ਸੋਝੀ। ਬੁਝਾਇ = ਸਮਝਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ = ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ। ਨਿਰਮਲ = ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ। ਲਿਵ = ਸੁਰਤਿ। ਲਾਇ = ਲਾ ਕੇ।
