Prof. Sahib Singhਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੇਖੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਈ, (ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਸ ਮੁੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੋਧਿ = ਸੋਧੇ, ਸੋਧੇ ਹਨ, ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੇਖੇ ਹਨ। ਕੀਮ = ਕੀਮਤ, ਮੁੱਲ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਸਤਕਿ = ਮੱਥੇ ਤੇ। ਸਿਮਰਿ = ਸਿਮਰੇ, ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਾਣੀ = ਜੀਵ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੋਸਾ = ਰਾਹ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਰਚ। ਦਿਚੈ = ਦੇਹ, ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਏ। ਮਿਹਮਾਣੀ = ਖ਼ਾਤਰਦਾਰੀ ॥੪॥
