Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਰਸਨਾ ਕਰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਔਰ ਹਰੀ ਕੋ ਹੀ ਹਾਥੋਂ ਸੇ ਲਿਖ, ਹਰੀ ਕੋ ਹੀ ਜਪ ਔ ਹਰੀ ਕੋ ਗਾਉ। ਸੋ ਕੈਸਾ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ? ਜੋ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਸੇ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਾਰਨੇ ਹਾਰਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਕਰ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਰਹੁ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਉਜਲੁ = ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ।

Fareedkot Teekaਮਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਮੇਂ ਹਰੀ ਕੋ ਧਿਆਉ ਔਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ (ਭਣੁ) ਉਚਾਰਣ ਕਰ, ਤਿਸੀ ਤੇ ਹਰੀ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ਇਉਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੰਨ ਹੋਇਗਾ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮਨ ਵਿਚ, ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ, ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤੋਖੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਕਰ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਬਚਨਿ = ਬਚਨ ਨਾਲ। ਰਿਦੈ = ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ। ਹੋਇ ਸੰਤੁਸਟੁ = ਸੰਤੋਖੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ। ਇਵ = ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ। ਭਣੁ = ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ। ਮੁਰਾਰੀ = (ਮੁਰ-ਅਰਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੀਰਤਿ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ। ਬਨਵਾਰੀ = {वनमालिन्} ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦੀ) ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥

Fareedkot Teekaਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਸੇ ਜਬ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਪਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰੀ ਤਬ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਉਦਮ ਭਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਜਪਿਆ, ਤਿਸੀ ਤੇ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਗਤੀ ਭਈ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਦੋਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਉੱਦਮ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਸਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ, ਤੇ, ਸਾਡੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ = ਨਜ਼ਰ, ਨਿਗਾਹ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਗਤਿ = ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ।
