ਗੁਨ ਕਹੁ. ਹਰਿ ਲਹੁ. ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ; ਇਵ. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥

Sant Singh KhalsaChant His Praises, learn of the Lord, and serve the True Guru; in this way, meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਤੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਉਚਾਰ। ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਰਾਧ।
Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਤਿਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਗੁਨੋਂ ਕੋ ਕਹੋ ਔ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਕੋ ਲਖੋ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹਰ ਤਰਹਿ ਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਕਾ ਧਿਆਵਣਾ ਕਰੋ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ। (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ (ਦੱਸੀ) ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ। ਇਸ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਨ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ। ਕਹੁ = ਯਾਦ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ। ਲਹੁ = ਲੱਭ, ਮਿਲਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ। ਇਵ = ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ। ਧਿਆਈ = ਧਿਆਈਂ; ਤੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ।

har daragah bhaaveh. fir janam, na aaveh; har har har jot samaaee |1|

Fareedkot Teekaਐਸੇ ਕਰਨੇ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ (ਦਰਗਹ) ਪਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਹਰੀ ਕੋ ਭਾਵੈਗਾ, ਤਿਸ ਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਜਨਮੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੈਗਾ। ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਿਸ ਹਰੀ ਕੀ ਜੋਤ ਹਰਿ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਮੇਂ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਸੇ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਦੇਖੇਂਗਾ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਪਸੰਦ ਆ ਜਾਏਂਗਾ, ਮੁੜ ਜਨਮ (ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ) ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਲੀਨ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਾਵਹਿ = ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇਂਗਾ। ਨ ਆਵਹਿ = ਤੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਂਗਾ। ਸਮਾਈ = ਲੀਨਤਾ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਬੜਾ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਸਭ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ, (ਇਹ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਸਭ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਰਹਾਉ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ, ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਕਰ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਰਹੁ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਉਜਲੁ = ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਥਾਇ ਪਾਵੈ = ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ = ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਠੀਕ। ਕਰਿ = ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਸਮਝ ਕੇ। ਮਾਨੀ = ਮੰਨੀ ਹੈ, ਅਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੇ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਹਰੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੇਹੜਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ (ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਮਝੀ ਗਈ) ਕਾਮਧੇਨ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪੂਰਕੁ = ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ। ਦਾਤਾ = ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਸਰਬ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਜਾ ਕੈ ਵਸਿ = ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਇਖ਼ਤਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ। ਧੇਨ = ਗਾਂ। ਕਾਮ-ਵਾਸਨਾ। ਕਾਮਧੇਨ = ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਗਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
