Prof. Sahib Singh(ਧਨ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ) ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਸਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਕੁ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਠੋਕਰ ਲੱਗੇ (ਤਾਂ ਢਹਿ-ਢੇਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਸਾਸਾ = ਇਤਬਾਰ। ਭਾਂਡਾ = ਸਰੀਰ। ਠਨਕਾ = ਠੇਡਾ, ਠੋਕਰ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! (ਜਦ ਮੰਗੋ) ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ (ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੰਗੋ, (ਇਸੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਪੁੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਨ = ਸੇਵਕ, ਭਗਤ। ਸਭ ਜਨ = ਸਤ-ਸੰਗੀ (Plural)।

* ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ: ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਾਥ ਸਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿੱਭਦਾ। ਸਰੀਰ ਭੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਕਰੋ, ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਸਦਾ-ਸਹਾਈ। * ਨੋਟ: ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਤੇ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
