Sant Singh KhalsaChanting it, the mind is filled with bliss; love of duality is eliminated, and pain, distress and desires are quenched.

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਂਭੇ) ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਯਾਸੁ = ਜਾਸੁ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ = ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਲਾਲਚ (ਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ) ਦੁਖ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹੋ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ = ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਲਾਲਚ। ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ। ਸਮਾਉ = ਲੀਨ ਹੋਵੋ ॥੧॥
