Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਕਾਮ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਝੂਠ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵੇ, ਜੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਲਾਲਚ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ (ਭੀ) ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਏ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਰਹਰਿ = ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ, ਛੱਡ ਕੇ। ਤਜਿ = ਛੱਡ ਕੇ।

ਤਜਿ ਕਾਮੁ ਕਾਮਿਨੀ. ਮੋਹੁ ਤਜੈ; ਤਾ ਅੰਜਨ ਮਾਹਿ. ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਛੈਲ ਛਬੀਲੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਚੇਸ਼ਟਾ ਤੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਲਾਂਜਲੀ ਦੇ। ਤਦ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਵਾਸ਼ਨਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਤਿਆਗ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਕਾਲਖ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ-ਰਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਮਿਨੀ = ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ। ਅੰਜਨ = ਕਾਲਖ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ। ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ = ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੁੱਤ੍ਰ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵੇ, ਜੇ (ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਆਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਰਤ ਜੋੜ ਲਏ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੁਤ = ਪੁਤ੍ਰ। ਦਾਰਾ = ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ, ਵਹੁਟੀ। ਪਿਆਸ = ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ।
SikhNet (Spanish)Deja tu orgullo y el apego a tus hijos y a tu esposa, la sed del “yo quiero”, y entónate con tu Señor.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਸਾਚਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ; ਸਾਚ ਸਬਦਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਤਾਂ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
