ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਉਜਲ = ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ। ਬਿਖੁ = ਜ਼ਹਿਰ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਪਦੇਸਿਆ = ਨੇੜੇ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ ਹੈ {ਦਿਸ਼ = ਹੱਥ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਖਾਉਣਾ। ਉਪ = ਨੇੜੇ। ਉਪਦਿਸ਼ = ਨੇੜੇ ਵਿਖਾ ਦੇਣਾ} ॥੨॥
