Prof. Sahib Singhਮੂਰਖ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਬਾਰੀਕ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਬੜੀ ਆਕੜ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਨਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਦੇ = ਦੇ। ਵਾਊ ਸੰਦੇ = ਹਵਾ ਦੇ, ਹਵਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਾਰੀਕ, ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਬਾਰੀਕ। ਪਹਿਰਹਿ = ਪਹਿਨਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗਰਬਿ = ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ, ਆਕੜ ਨਾਲ। ਗਵਾਰ = ਮੂਰਖ ਮਨੁੱਖ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਏਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਸਾਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਮਸਾਣ ਭੂਮਕਾ ਮੇਂ ਜਲਤੀ ਅਗਨ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਬਲ ਕੇ ਭਸਮ ਹੂਏ ਦੇਖੀਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਮਰਨ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ) ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ, (ਏਥੇ ਹੀ) ਸੜ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
