ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਗਮ = ਅਪਹੁੰਚ। ਅਗੋਚਰ = (ਅ-ਗੋ-ਚਰ) ਜਿਸ ਤਕ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ। ਜੀਹ = ਜੀਭ। ਕਿਆ ਕਥੈ = ਕੀਹ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ? ਦੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ। ਲਾਲ = ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀ! ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੋ = ਦਾ। ਤਿਨਿ = ਉਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਨੇ। ਰੀ = ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਲੀਓ ਸੁਹਾਗੁ = ਸੁਹਾਗ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ। ਹਉ = ਹਉਂ, ਮੈਂ। ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ = ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
