Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਜੋ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ (ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ) ਛੁਡਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਜਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਔਰ ਤਿਸੀ ਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਦੁਸਟ ਸਭ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਏ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਕਿ ਉਨ ਕੀ ਸਭਨੇ ਸਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਸਭ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਤੇ ਦੁਰਜਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਆ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਵਡਭਾਗੀ = ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ।

naanak naam araadh. sabhanaa te vaddaa; sabh naavai agai. aan nivaae |15|

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਸਭਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਜੋ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਅਰਾਧਿ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਸ਼ੁ ਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਜਾਪਕ ਕੇ ਅਗੇ ਨਿਵਾਇ ਦੀਏ ਹੈਂ॥੧੫॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ-ਇਹ (ਸਾਧਨ) ਸਭ (ਸਾਧਨਾਂ) ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ; ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਭ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ) ਨਿਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੫॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਣਿ = ਲਿਆ ਕੇ। ਸਭਿ = ਸਾਰੇ ॥੧੫॥
