Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਖਿੱਚ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨ ਮੋਹਨ = ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਘਟ ਘਟ ਸੋਹਣ = ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਖਿੰਚੇ = ਖਿਚ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਛਾਈ = ਸੁਆਹ, ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਘੜੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਘੜੀ ਨੂੰ (ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਕੂਚ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ) ਵੇਲਾ ਆ ਹੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰੋ?ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਿਲਿ ਕਰਿ = ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਸਾਧਹੁ = ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਘਰੀ ਮੁਹਤਕ = ਘੜੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਘੜੀ ਤਕ। ਬੇਲਾ = (ਇਥੋਂ ਕੂਚ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ) ਸਮਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿੱਕ ਕੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ (ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਵਸਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਬੇ-ਸਮਝੀ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਗਾਇਆ = ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਰਹਿ ਕੇ)। ਅਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਧੇਰੁ = ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਬੇ-ਸਮਝੀ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੋੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ = ਚਾਨਣ। ਰਿਦੈ = ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ। ਉਲਾਸੁ = ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ। ਲੋੜੀਦਾ = ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੋੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
