Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਨ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਵਿਚ ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਭੌਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਬਿਰਹੰ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਰਹੋਂ ਵਿਚ। ਬਿਰਹ = ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ। ਦਹ = ਦਸ। ਦਿਸਹ = ਪਾਸੇ। ਦਹ ਦਿਸਹ = ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ। ਬੈਰਾਗੀ = ਵੈਰਾਗ-ਵਾਨ, ਆਸ਼ਿਕ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਛਲ-ਰੂਪ ਮਾਇਆ (ਦਾ ਖਹਿੜਾ) ਛੱਡਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ (ਭਾਲਦਿਆਂ ਭਾਲਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਆਨੰਦ-ਰੂਪ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ (ਜਿਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਸੁਣਨ ਦਾ ਅਵਸਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਪਟ = ਛਲ। ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਮਹ = ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ (ਸਾਈ) ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਭੀ ਤਿਸੀ ਕਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਵਹੁ ਯਦਿਪ ਸਰਬ ਲੋਕੋ ਬੀਚ ਹੀ (ਵਤਾ) ਫਿਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਅੰਨ ਜੀਵੋਂ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਪਤਤ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਂਈ (ਦੀ ਯਾਦ) ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਚੱਕਰ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਸੁਣ ਸਕਾਂ)
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਮੁਖਿ = ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ। ਵਤਾ = ਭੌਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਹਭੇ ਲੋਅ = ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ।

ਨਾਨਕ. ਹਭਿ ਅਡੰਬਰ ਕੂੜਿਆ; ਸੁਣਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥੨॥
naanak. habh addanbar koorriaa; sun jeevaa sachee soe |2|
Sant Singh KhalsaO Nanak, all ostentatious displays are false; hearing the Praises of the True Lord, I live. ||2||

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਜਗਤ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਦਿੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਜੀਉ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਭੀ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਕੂੜਿਆ = ਨਾਸਵੰਤ। ਸੋਇ = ਖ਼ਬਰ ॥੨॥
