Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ) ਜੇ (ਇਹ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ (ਇਹ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਗੰਦ ਦੇ ਕੀੜੇ ਜਾਣੋ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਿਤਿ = ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ। ਕੀਰੇ = ਕੀੜੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ, ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੀ ਮਨ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਫੜਦਾ ॥੬॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ = ਕਿਸ ਵਿਧੀ ਨਾਲ? ਧੀਰੇ = ਧੀਰਜ ਫੜਦਾ ॥੬॥
