ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਝੁੰਪੜੀ = ਕੁੱਲੀ। ਚੀਰ = ਕਪੜੇ। ਛਿੰਨਾ = ਪਾਟੇ ਹੋਏ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੋਵੇ, ਨਾਹ ਕੋਈ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਕਿਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਆਦਰ ਨਾਹ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਾ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਤਿ = ਇੱਜ਼ਤ। ਉਦਿਆਨ = ਜੰਗਲ। ਭ੍ਰਮਿੰਨਾ = ਭਟਕਣਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਤੀ (ਇਠ) ਪਿਆਰਾ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ, ਧਨ ਔ ਰੂਪ ਸੇ ਭੀ ਹੀਨ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਸ ਕਾ (ਸਿੰਨਾ) ਸਨਿਗਧ ਸਾਕ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਨਾਹ ਹੋਵੇ, ਨਾਹ ਧਨ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਨਾਹ ਰੂਪ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਕ ਸੈਣ ਭੀ ਨਾਹ ਹੋਵੇ,

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਅਜੇਹਾ ਨਿਥਾਵਾਂ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਭੀ) ਜੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਭਿੱਜਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਮਝੋ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਿੰਨਾ = ਭਿੱਜਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਸ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਚਰਨ ਧੂੜੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁ) ਜੀਵ (ਉਧਰੈ) ਕਲਿਆਨ ਕੋ ਪਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰੰਤੂ ਧੂੜੀ ਤੌ ਮਿਲਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥੭॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੭॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਧਰੈ = (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ॥੭॥
