Fareedkot Teekaਕਾਇਆਂ ਮੇਂ ਇੰਦ੍ਰੇ ਡਾਲ ਹੈਂ, (ਕੂਮਲ) ਨਿਮ੍ਰਤਾ ਆਦੀ ਗੁਣ ਫੁਲ ਹੈਂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹੇ ਏਹੁ ਮਾਲਾ ਬਨਾਵੋ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਰੀਰ (ਮਾਨੋ, ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੂਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ) ਕੂਮਲੀ ਹੈ, (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ) ਗੁਣ (ਇਸ ਕੋਮਲ ਟਹਣੀ ਨੂੰ, ਮਾਨੋ) ਫੁੱਲ ਹਨ, (ਕੋਈ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ) ਹਾਰ ਗੁੰਦਦਾ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੂਮਲ = ਕੂਮਲੀ। ਗੁਪਸਿ = ਗੁੰਦਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਲ = ਮਾਲਾ, ਹਾਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲਗਨ ਲਾਏ ਤਾਂ (ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਟ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ) ਹੋਰ ਡਾਲੀਆਂ ਚੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਕੀਹ ਲੋੜ? ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਏਨੀ ਫੁਲੀ = (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ-ਰੂਪ) ਇਹਨਾਂ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਵਲ। ਰਉ = ਰੌ, ਧਿਆਨ, ਲਗਨ। ਅਵਰ ਡਾਲ = ਹੋਰ ਡਾਲੀਆਂ। ਕਿ = ਕੀਹ? ॥੧॥
