Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਤੈਥੋਂ) ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਮੰਗਣਾ ਭਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਹੇੜਨੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿ = ਜੋ ਕੁਝ। ਦੁਖਾ ਕੈ ਸਿਰਿ ਦੁਖ = ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ, ਭਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੇਹ ਤਾਂ ਜੁ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਆ ਜਾਏ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਏ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਤੋਖੀਆ = ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਆ ਜਾਏ। ਭੁਖ = ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਤੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਬਨਾਸਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਸਬਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ?
Fareedkot Teekaਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਤੌ ਵਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਸਭ ਹਰੇ ਕਰ ਦੀਏ ਹੈਂ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਇਹ ਤੌ ਮਾਨੁਖ ਜੂਨੀ ਹੈ ਉਨ ਕੇ ਆਗੇ ਕਿਆ ਬਡੀ ਬਾਤ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਜੜ ਤਾਰ ਦੀਏ ਏਹ ਤੌ ਚੇਤਨ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਬਾਤ ਸਮਝਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਤੇ (ਜੰਗਲ ਦਾ ਸੁੱਕਾ) ਘਾਹ ਹਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੇਹੜੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ? ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਵਣੁ = ਬਨ, ਜੰਗਲ। ਤਿਣੁ = ਤੀਲਾ, ਘਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੀਲਾ ॥੨॥
