Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੀੜਹੁ = ਭੀੜ ਤੋਂ, ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਤੋਂ। ਮੋਕਲਾਈ = ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ। ਕੀਤੀਅਨੁ = ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੇ। ਕੁਟੰਬੈ ਨਾਲਿ = ਪਰਵਾਰ ਸਮੇਤ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਵਾਰਿਅਨੁ = ਸਵਾਰੇ ਹਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ। ਸਭਾਲਿ = ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖ, ਯਾਦ ਕਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਅੰਞਾਣੇ ਬਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਗਲ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੰਠਿ = ਗਲ ਨਾਲ। ਲਹੁੜੇ = ਛੋਟੇ, ਅੰਞਾਣੇ। ਪਾਲਿ = ਪਾਲ ਕੇ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਬ ਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤਬ ਸਭ (ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ) ਸੂਖਮ ਅਸਥੂਲ ਜੀਵ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਪਰ ਦਿਆਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਦਿਆਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਦਰਿ = ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਨਾਲ। ਨਿਹਾਲ = ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
