Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਮਗ਼ਰੂਰ ਆਪ ਹੁਦਰਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ (ਨੂੰ ਉਸ) ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰਿ (ਤੁਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਜੁਗਤਿ ਲਈ ਮਿਥੀ ਹੋਈ) ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਮੁਰੀਦ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ),ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ = ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ। ਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚਿ = ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ, ਮਿਥੀ ਹੋਈ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਵਿਚ, ਉਸ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਿੱਥ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮਨਮੁਖੁ = ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਕਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ (ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ) ਜਮਕਾਲ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ (ਚੋਟ) ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਸਹੇੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ)।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਿਰਿ = ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਬੜਾ ਔਖਾ ਤੇ ਡਰਾਉਣਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਤਰਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਾਰਗੁ = ਰਸਤਾ, ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ। ਬਿਖਮੁ = ਔਖਾ।

Sant Singh KhalsaO Nanak, those whom the Guru protects are saved. They are saved in the Name of the Lord. ||27||

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਜੋ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਹੈਂ ਸੇ (ਉਬਰੇ) ਬਚੇ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਪਾਪ ਭਾਰ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਸੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੈਂ ਔਰ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਭਗਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਪੰਕਤੀ ਉਧਾਰੀ ਹੈ॥੨੭॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੈਤਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੭॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਉਬਰੇ = ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲੇ। ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਨੇ। ਕਿਉ ਤਰੀਐ = ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਣਾ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੭॥
