Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਅਗੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਕਮੀਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਝੂਠ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਸਾਕਤ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਾ ਭੀ ਨਿਊਣ, (ਤਾਂ ਭੀ) ਉਹ ਮਨੋਂ ਖੋਟੇ (ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਤੇ ਖੋਟੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੂੜ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਕਤ = ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, "ਉਠੋ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਓ!" ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇ ਨਾਂ ਕਿਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁਸੜ ਕੇ ਬਗਲੇ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ (ਸਭ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-'ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਸੁਚੇਤ ਹੋਵੋ!' (ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਕਤ ਭੀ) ਬਗਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ (ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਰਲ ਕੇ ਬਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰ ਸਾਕਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੂੜ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ) ਤੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਭੀ ਸਾਕਤ) ਲਾਧ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਕੱਢੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅੰਦਰਿ = ਪਉੜੀ ਨੰ: ੨੦ ਦੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਅੰਦਰੁ' ਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਫਜ਼ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ-ਯੋਗ ਹੈ। ਲਧੋਵਾਰੇ = ਲਾਧ-ਪਰਖ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਖ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜੇ ਕਰ ਉਨ ਸਾਕਤ ਨਰੋਂ ਕੋ ਕੁਛ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਖੁਲਾਈਏ ਔਰ ਏਹੁ ਲੋਚੀਐ ਕਿ ਵਹੁ ਸੁਭ ਮਾਰਗ ਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਵੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਵਹੁ ਮੁਖ ਸੇ ਬਿਖ ਰੂਪ ਬਚਨ (ਉਗਲਾਰੇ) ਨਿਕਾਲ ਕੇ (ਕਢੇ) ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਕਿ ਜੈਸੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਘਾਸਾਦਿਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੈਸੀ ਹੀ ਉਗਾਲੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਜੋ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਹਕਰਨ ਮੇਂ ਕੌੜਤਨ ਹੈ, ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਮੁਖ ਬਿਖ ਰੂਪ ਬਚਨੋਂ ਕੀ ਉਗਾਲੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਉਨ ਕੀ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਕੋ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦੇਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
