Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਨਕ, ਜੇਕਰ ਮੰਗਤਾ ਨਿਤਾਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਖੈਰ ਮੰਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰ ਲੈਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਮੰਗਤਾ (ਬਣ ਕੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ) ਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਰਜ਼) ਮਾਲਕ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਾਚਿਕੁ = ਮੰਗਤਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਜਜਮਾਨ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ (ਮੂਲਿ) ਕਦਾਚਿਤ ਭੂਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਗਤੀ॥੨॥☬ਜਬ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਵਾਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੇ ਸੁਨੀ ਤਬ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਆ ਕਿ ਵਰ ਮਾਂਗ ਤਬ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੇ ਆਗੇ ਢਾਢੀ ਵਤ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਜਜਮਾਨ (ਆਪ) ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਭੀ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ) ਭੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਜਮਾਨੁ = ਦੱਛਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਨ ਮੂਲਿ = ਰਤਾ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੨॥
