Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਬੂਹੇ ਤੇ (ਬੈਠਿਆਂ, ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ) ਲੇਖਾ (ਫਿਰ ਭੀ) ਮੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਬੂਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹ ਮੱਲਿਓ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਤੁ ਦਰਿ = ਜਿਸ ਦਰ ਤੇ {ਨੋਟ: ਇਸ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਗਹੁ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖੋ 'ਜਿਸੁ ਦਰਿ'; ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ}।

Fareedkot Teekaਕੈਸਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ? ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਸਚ ਕੋ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਅਗੇ ਜਗ੍ਯਾਸੂਆਂ ਕੋ (ਸਚੁ) ਨਿਸਚੈ ਕਰ, ਓਹੁ ਸਚਾ (ਸਬਦੁ) ਉਪਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਕਰ ਸਚ ਕੋ ਹੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਕਰਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੱਲੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ (ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆਂ ਦੇ) ਪੱਲੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਏ = ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪੱਕੀ ਗੰਢ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦ੍ਰਿੜੁ = ਦ੍ਰਿੜ (ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ), ਪੱਲੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਬ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਭੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਐਸੇ ਸਚੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਿਆਂ ਵਹੁ ਹੁਕਮ ਸਚੀ ਹੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਦੇਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਮੰਨ ਲਈਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੱਚੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਮੰਨਿਐ = {Locative Absolute} ਜੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨ ਲਈਏ, ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆਂ।

ਸਚੇ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਵਸੀ; ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ, ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
