Fareedkot Teekaਅਰਬ ਔਰ ਖਰਬ ਗਿਨਤੀ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਨ ਕੇ (ਭੰਡਾਰ) ਖਜਾਨਿਓਂ ਕੀ (ਲੀਲਾ) ਖੇਡ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਅਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ। ਵਾ (ਸਧਾਰੈ) ਤਿਸ ਤਰਫ ਜਾਤਾ, ਭਾਵ ਅਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਬੇਅੰਤ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜ ਵੇਖ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਢਾਰਸ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੰਡਾਰ = ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ। ਦਰਬ = {द्रव्य} ਧਨ। ਅਰਬ ਖਰਬ = ਅਰਬਾਂ ਖਰਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ, ਬੇਅੰਤੁ। ਪੇਖਿ = ਵੇਖ ਕੇ। ਲੀਲਾ = ਖੇਡ। ਮਨੁ ਸਧਾਰੈ = ਮਨ ਢਾਰਸ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Sant Singh KhalsaEntangled with children, spouse, siblings and friends, you are enticed and fooled; these pass like the shadow of a tree.

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਸੰਦੇਹ ਦਾ ਬਹਿਕਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਤਰਾਂ, ਪਤਨੀ, ਭਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਲਝਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਨੰਦ ਛਿਨ-ਭੰਗਰ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਤਥਾ ਭਾਈ ਔ ਮਿਤ੍ਰੋਂ ਕੋ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਇਨ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਭਰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਹੂਆ ਫਸ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ। ਏਹ ਕੈਸੇ ਹੈਂ? ਜੈਸੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਕੀ (ਛਾਮਨੀ) ਛਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਇਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ, ਭਰਾ, ਮਿੱਤਰ (ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ) ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵ ਫਸਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਠੱਗਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ-ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ (ਵਾਂਗ) ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੁਤ = ਪੁੱਤਰ। ਕਲਤ੍ਰ = ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ। ਭ੍ਰਾਤ = ਭਰਾ। ਮੀਤ = ਮਿੱਤਰ। ਉਰਝਿ ਪਰਿਓ = ਉਲਝਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਫਸਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਭਰਮਿ = ਭਰਮ ਵਿਚ, ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ। ਬਿਰਖ ਛਾਮਨੀ = ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੋ ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲੋਂ ਕੀ ਸਰਨ ਹੋਇਕੇ ਵਾਹਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ (ਭਾਵਨੀ) ਸਰਧਾ ਮੇਂ ਲਗੇ ਹੈਂ, ਸੋ ਸੁਖ ਰੂਪ ਹੂਏ ਹੈਂ॥੨॥੨॥੬੦॥☬ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਸ੍ਵੈਮਨ ਕੇ ਪਰਥਾਇ ਕਰ ਸਰਬ ਕੋ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਕਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਹੀ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨॥੬੦॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਤ ਭਾਵਨੀ = ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨॥੬੦॥
