Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਮਨ! ਤੂੰ ਐਸਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ (ਖੋਜਿ) ਢੂੰਢ ਲੈ, ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਸੇਵਨੇ ਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਕਾ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਤਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਖੋਜ ਕੇ ਲੱਭ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਦਾ ਦੁਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ = ਜੰਮਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਰਨ ਤਕ ਦਾ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਸਾ = ਤੌਖ਼ਲਾ। ਮੂਲਿ = ਕਦੇ ਭੀ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਾਲਿ = ਕੰਧ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਮਨ! (ਉਸ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ) ਸੰਜਮ ਵਿਚ ਸੱਚੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਜਮਿ = ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨਾਲ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਗੋਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਬ ਐਸੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਬ (ਰਜਾਇ) ਆਗ੍ਯਾ ਕਰਨੇਹਾਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਦੋਂ ਹਰੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦੋਂ (ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ) ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਪੂਰੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਮਿ = ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਨਾਲ। ਰਜਾਇ = (ਆਪਣੀ) ਰਜ਼ਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ॥੨॥
