ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ = ਨੌ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ)। ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ = ਮਨ ਦਾ ਚਿਤਵਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਜੁ = ਅਡੋਲ ਅਵਸਥਾ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਲਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੭॥
