ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ = {सौभागिनी} ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ = ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਨਾਲ, ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ। ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ = ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਾਦ = ਰਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਾਣੇ। ਬਿਨੋਦ = ਤਮਾਸ਼ੇ। ਕੋਡ = ਕੌਤਕ। ਸੰਗਿ = ਨਾਲ, ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ।
