Prof. Sahib Singhਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਖਸਮ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਹੈ; ਜੋ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਸਹੁਰੇ-ਘਰ ਤੇ ਪੇਕੇ-ਘਰ (ਦੋਹੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ) ਖਸਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ,

Prof. Sahib Singhਤੇ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਉਸ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ {ਨੋਟ: ਫ਼ਰੀਦ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਨੰ: ੩੨ ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਕਈ ਥਾਈਂ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਹਨ, ਪਾਂਠਕ-ਜਨ ਆਪ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਣ}। ਸਹਾਗਣੀ = {ਏਥੇ 'ਸ' ਦੇ ਨਾਲ (ੁ) ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਹੈ, ਅਸਲ ਲ਼ਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ' ਹੈ} ॥੨॥
