Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਜਿਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਫਸੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ, (ਮਾਇਆ-ਵੇੜ੍ਹੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦੀ), ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ ਗੁਪਤ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ। ਦਰਿ = ਦਰ ਵਿਚ, ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ। ਜਿਤੁ ਦਰਿ = ਜਿਸ ਦਰ ਵਿਚ, ਜਿਸ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ। ਵਸਹਿ = (ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੂੰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਕਵਨੁ ਦਰਿ = ਕੇਹੜਾ ਥਾਂ? ਦਰਾ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਦਰੁ = ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਥਾਂ, ਗੁਪਤ ਥਾਂ। ਕਵਨੁ ਲਹੈ = ਕੌਣ ਲੱਭ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਖੰਧਕ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੀਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਐਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਮਾਇਆ ਰੂਪ ਚੋਫੇਰੇ ਖਾਈ ਹੈ। ਵਹੁ ਕੈਸੀ ਹੈ? ਜਲ ਹਾਂਡੈ, ਭਾਵ ਅਤੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਔ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਾਸਨਾ ਰੂਪ ਜਲ ਕਰਿ ਭਰੀ ਹੂਈ ਹੈ। ਇਨ ਸਭ ਕੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਬਾਂਧਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਇਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਪੁਨਹ ਸਤਾ ਸਫੁਰਤੀ ਮਾਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਭ ਮੇਂ ਇਸਥਿਤ ਰਹਿਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਨ ਦੁਖੋਂ ਆਦਿ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਨੇ ਕਾ ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਇਨ ਬਿਕਾਰੋਂ ਤੇ ਉਲੰਘਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਕੋ ਪਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਖਾਈ (ਪੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਈ) ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ) ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ (ਹਿਰਦਾ-) ਘਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਲੁ = ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਆਬ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ। ਪਾਣੀ = ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ। ਸਤ = ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ, ਸਹਿਜ ਅਵਸਥਾ। ਆਸਣਿ = ਆਸਣ ਉਤੇ। ਪੁਰਖੁ = ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ ਘਿਰੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਭਾਵੇਂ) ਤੇਰੇ ਕਈ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਤੇਰੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਿੰਤੇ = ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ। ਸਰਿ = ਬਰਾਬਰ। ਹਰੇ = ਹੇ ਹਰੀ!

Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਦੁਖ ਵਾ ਸੁਖ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਆਇ ਹੋਵੇ ਸੋ ਕਿਸੀ ਪਾਸ ਊਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਔ ਮਨ ਬੀਚ ਹੀ ਸਹਾਰ ਰਹਨਾ; ਵਾ ਆਪ ਕੋ ਉਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹਣਾ ਅਰ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਨਿਮਰ ਹੋ ਰਹਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਏ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਵਹੁ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦੁਖ ਤਥਾ ਸੁਖ ਕਰਮੋਂ ਕੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀਵੋਂ ਕੋ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਔ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਤਿਨ ਸੁਖ ਦੁਖੋਂ ਕੋ ਜਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੋ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਆ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ ਅਰ ਵਡਿਆਂ ਕਿਆ ਕਹਨਾ ਹੈ॥੩॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮਨ ਦੇ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਭਾਵ) ਉੱਚੀ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ ਦੱਸਣ ਦੀ ਭੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਅੰਤਰ ਆਤਮੇ ਹੀ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਭ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਭ ਕੁਝ) ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਚਾ = ਉੱਚੀ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ। ਆਪੇ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ॥੩॥
