Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ, (ਪਰ) (ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ) ਖਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ (ਭਾਵ, ਸਿਰ-ਦਰਦੀ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਰੌਲਾ ਬਹੁਤ (ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੋਲ ਘਚੋਲਾ = ਰੌਲਾ-ਗੌਲਾ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ = ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰ ਮਾਇਆਧਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਦੇ ਕੀਹ ਹੱਥ?) ਜੋ ਕੁੱਝ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ) ਇਹ ਜੀਵ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੈਸੇ ਬਾਜਾ ਬਜਾਇਆ ਹੂਆ ਬਜਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੈਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਰੂਪ (ਜੰਤੂ) ਬਾਜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕਾ ਬਜਾਇਆ ਹੂਆ ਬਜਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੀਵ (ਵਾਜੇ ਵਾਂਗ) ਵਜਾਇਆ ਵੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਬੁਲਾਇਆਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥
