Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਮਾਇਆਵਾਨ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਰਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਤ ਉਧਰਣ = ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਪਸ਼ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਦਇਆਲੰ = ਦਿਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਆਸਰੰ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਕੀਰਤਨਹ = (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗੇਣ = (ਉਹਨਾਂ) ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਚੰਦਨ ਔ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾਂ ਪੁਨਾ ਅਸੂ ਕਾਤਕ ਕਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਜੋ ਸਰਦ ਰਿਤੁ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਭੀ ਐਸੇ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਸੀਤਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੈਸਾਕੁ ਹਰੀ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤਿਨ ਸੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਕੀ ਮੂਲ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਰੂਪੀ ਤਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਟਤੀ ਹੈ ਵਾ (ਮੂਲ), ਭਾਵ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਤਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਟਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਭਾਵੇਂ ਚੰਦਨ (ਦਾ ਲੇਪ ਕੀਤਾ) ਹੋਵੇ ਚਾਹੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ (ਦੀ ਚਾਨਣੀ) ਹੋਵੇ, ਤੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਠੰਢੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਹੋਵੇ-ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਤਪਸ਼ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਮਿਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਰਦ ਰੁਤਿ = ਠੰਢੀ ਰੁੱਤ। ਘਾਂਮ = ਮਨ ਦੀ ਤਪਸ਼।
