Sant Singh KhalsaThe Gurmukh meditates on the Lord; the celestial sound-current resounds within him, and he focuses his consciousness on the True Name.
Manmohan SinghThe pious persons reflect on God and in them the celestial strain resounds. They fix their attention on the True Name.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਗੂੰਜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਸਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਮੇਂ ਜਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਚਿਤ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤਿਨ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੋਂ ਕੀ (ਧੁਨਿ) ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰ (ਸਹਜ) ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸ੍ਵਰੂਪ ਉਪਜਤੀ ਹੈ; ਵਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ (ਧੁਨਿ) ਬਾਣੀ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੁੜੀ-ਸੁਰਤ ਤੇ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਰੌ ਚੱਲ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧਿਆਨ = ਜੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੁਰਤਿ। ਧੁਨਿ = ਸੁਰ, ਰੌ। ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ = ਸਹਜ ਦੀ ਧੁਨਿ, ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਰੌ। ਧਿਆਨ ਧੁਨਿ = ਜੁੜੀ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਦੀ ਰੌ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ) ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਹੀ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ) ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ ਰੱਬੀ ਮੇਲ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਜਿ = ਸਹਜ ਵਿਚ, ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ। ਰੰਗੁ = ਪਿਆਰ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਗੁਰੋਂ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨੋਂ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੂਆ ਹੈ ਤਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਤਿਮਰ ਕੀ ਨ੍ਯਾਈਂ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਰੂਪ ਅੰਧੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਉਠਾਇ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ; ਵਾ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਕੀ ਅਵਰਣ ਔ ਵਿਛੇਪ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ ਤਿਨ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਕੋ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ; ਵਾ ਅਭਾਨਾਪਾਦ ਅਰੁ ਅਸਤ੍ਵਾਪਾਦ ਇਨ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਸਕਤੀਆਂ ਕੋ ਗਵਾਯਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੀ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਗਿਆਨ-ਰੂਪ ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਮਰੁ = ਹਨੇਰਾ।
