Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਕ) ਕਾਮ-ਚੇਸ਼ਟਾ (ਐਸੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ) ਦੀ ਮੈਲ ਲਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ-ਪੁਣੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਸੜੇ ਹੋਏ! (ਦੱਸ, ਸੁੱਚੀ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਸ਼ੈ ਹੋਈ?) ॥੨॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੂਠਿ = ਅਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰਤਾ। ਲੂਠੇ = ਹੇ ਸੜੇ ਹੋਏ! ਅਗਨਿ ਕੇ ਲੂਠੇ = ਹੇ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੜੇ ਹੋਏ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਗਨਿ = ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ॥੨॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: (ਤੇਈ) ਸੋਈ ਪੁਰਸ ਸੂਚੇ ਹੈਂ ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਮੇਂ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਪੜੀ ਹੈ॥੪॥੧॥੭॥☬ਰਾਮਾ ਨੰਦ ਜੀ ਕੋ ਲੋਕੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਹਾ: ਆਜ ਮੇਲਾ ਹੈ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਸਥਲ ਕੋ ਪੂਜਨ ਚਲੋ। ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਉੱਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਤੇ ਹੂਏ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਆਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:

* ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ: ਤ੍ਰਿਗੁਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਅਸਰ ਹੇਠ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਜੀਵ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੈ। ਲਕੀਰਾਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਚੌਕੇ ਬਣਾਇਆਂ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੀ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਸੁੱਚੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
