Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਦੋਂ ਜੀਵ-) ਪਪੀਹਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਲੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ-) ਬੱਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ (ਇਸ ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਤੇ) ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ('ਨਾਮ' ਦੀ) ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰੋ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ('ਨਾਮ' ਦੀ) ਵੀਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ) 'ਨਾਮ' ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਹਰੀ-ਭਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
