Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਕੇਵਲ ਘਰੋਂ ਘਰੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਮਾਂਗਤਾ ਹੀ (ਹੰਢੈ) ਫਿਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੋ ਐਸੇ ਦਰਵੇਸ ਕੇ ਭੇਸ ਕੋ ਧ੍ਰਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ ਔ ਜੀਵਨ ਕੋ ਭੀ ਧ੍ਰਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ॥☬ਜੇ ਕਹੈ ਸਚਾ ਦਰਵੇਸ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਸੋ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਫ਼ਕੀਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਜੇ ਘਰ ਘਰ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਫਿਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹਦੇ ਜੀਊਣ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ (ਫ਼ਕੀਰੀ-) ਜਾਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹੰਢੈ = ਫਿਰੇ। ਧਿਗੁ = ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਯੋਗ। ਵੇਸੁ = (ਫ਼ਕੀਰੀ) ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ।

ਜੇ ਆਸਾ ਅੰਦੇਸਾ ਤਜਿ ਰਹੈ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਉ ॥
je aasaa andesaa taj rahai; guramukh bhikhiaa naau |

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ (ਦਰਵੇਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਆਸਾ ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਵੇ ਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਭਿਖਿਆ ਮੰਗੇ,

Prof. Sahib Singhਤਾਂ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
