ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਪਾਇਅਨੁ = ਉਪਾਏ ਉਸ ਨੇ। ਗਿਰਾਸੁ = ਗਰਾਹੀ, ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ (ਹਰੀ) ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭੁ = ਹਰ ਥਾਂ। ਗੁਣਤਾਸੁ = ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ, (ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਪਿਆ ਹੈ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭਿ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਕਿਲਵਿਖ = ਪਾਪ। ਤਾਸੁ = ਉਸ ਦੇ ॥੨॥
