Prof. Sahib Singhਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ) ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਾਇਆ-ਵੇੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਮਨ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਮਾ = ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼, ਕਰਮ। ਮਨੂਆ = ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਿਆ ਮਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਮ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਮਨ (ਜਦੋਂ ਤਕ) ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਵਿਰਤ (ਹੈ) ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧੀਰਾ = ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਕਲਿ = (ਭਾਵ,) ਸੰਸਾਰ। ਨ ਤਗੈ = (ਟਿਕਾਉ ਵਿਚ) ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਭ ਸਕਦਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਏਹੋ ਹਥੁ ਕਰਮੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਇਹੀ ਹਥੁ ਫਲ ਪਾਇ ਲੇਤਾ ਹੈ; ਭਾਵ ਜੋ ਕਰਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਫਲੁ ਭੋਗਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਕ ਘੜੀ ਅਧੀ ਘੜੀ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਗਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਇਹੁ ਹੈ ਛੇਤੀ ਫਲ੍ਹ ਪਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਨਸਕ ਸਿੱਟਾ ਨਿਕਲਦਿਆਂ) ਰਤਾ ਭੀ ਸਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਇਹ ਹੱਥ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਇਹੀ ਹੱਥ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਹਿ = ਇਹ। ਕਰੁ = ਹੱਥ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧॥
